Michael Kuhr, Former Kickboxing Champion, Now Security Professional High In Demand In Berlin
Michael Kuhr from Germany gained fame through his numerous amateur kickboxing championship titles.
He then went pro and became Germany’s first World Champion in Kickboxing.
Years have passed since his bouts in the ring.
Michael Kuhr now runs a successful security company in the German capital of Berlin.
This is a tough business that calls for discipline, integrity and a cool head when things around you heat up.
In certain circles he is simply known as ‘Der Pate’, which translates into English as ‘The Godfather’.
Michael Kuhr has become a celebrity on German TV because of his professionalism and the success he enjoys in Berlin.

Love that 2nd video! It was lucky that Kuhr knew the guy’s brother, that helped. But, to see the punk just turn into a scared kid right before my eyes was awsome. Just goes to show when it comes to having heart or real fighting spirit: “An empty barrel rattles the loudest.”

Whats even more telling is the look on his face when Kuhr threatens to call the kid’s brother. What kind of baddass must he be for this guy to completely freak. Props to Kuhr for being the thinking man’s fighter and completely dis-engaging from the guys taunts. Great fighter and true Professional security man.

Saw the 2nd video for the 1st time yesterday on youtube. What an absolute professional! Know a few doormen who would have just lost it and gone in fists 1st but this guy shows real class.

ive been a NYPD cop for 20 years and im so impressed….he should give training seminars… a true master…. anyone can punch someone in the face…the art of security is to use violence as a last resort and he has shown that he is the best.

I had the pleasure of promoting many fighta with Michael Kuhr. He was a great gladiator and packed more seats into German arenas than any other fullcontact fighter. Too bad he had to retire.
