Hello!

An off topic reply to your comment on John Zimmer’s site about playing tennis. A good buddy and I were faced with a match against two young very good players. Just before the match I walked over to him and said, “This is our strategy for the match. We are going to lose!” After the laugh all the pressure was off and we kicked!! You are right about it’s all mental!

That’s pretty funny.
Right after warming up and before starting the match I made the remark,
“Well, I guess that does it for today. Let’s go have a beer!”
Worked wonders. Again, somebody told me it’s around 90% mental.
There must be something to it.
